Disney Plus WandaVision Release

WandaVision returns to Disney Plus with its penultimate episode next week. Before it does, let’s find out if there is a trailer for Episode 8.

WandaVision continues to leave viewers in awe. The Disney Plus series has become a regular presence in the lives of Marvel fans since its debut in January. In spite of a relatively short run, it has captivated them in a way that few others could.

That short run is about to feel even shorter because the show will unfortunately be concluding in two weeks. WandaVision has a confirmed episode-count of nine episodes and that means the penultimate one, Episode 8, will stream on the service next week.

Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision’s newfound happiness is in trouble as SWORD have been attempting to break into the apparently fictional reality that the former has created. But with the sitcom-inspired tone beginning to wear off on WandaVision, things are heading into much darker territory – or, at least territory more in-line with the Marvel Cinematic Universe – as the show heads towards its conclusion. After another jaw-dropping installment, what can we expect from the eighth episode? Is there a trailer for Episode 8?

Unfortunately, Marvel Studios has yet to release a trailer for episode 8 of WandaVision. As the series is a streaming-only offering, there is less of a necessity to release weekly promos immediately after the previous episode’s ending.

This week, there wasn’t any new trailer released for Episode 7 but Marvel Studios did unveil a new clip of the episode, teasing us with what Wanda and her family was up to in the latest episode. With only two episodes left, they could do the same in the coming week for Episode 8. In the meantime, let’s revisit this previous promo that could feature some clips of the coming episode.

For the entirety of the series, it’s been clear that something more was going on in this community beyond just Wanda’s construction of it. The mystery was what that something was. We now have a good sense of it courtesy of Agatha Harkness, who for all this time has been working to screw with all of the various “sitcoms” at the core of the show. Now that she has revealed herself, it does set a dramatically different tone for the final two episodes.

All of a sudden, the show feels less like an attempt for Wanda to live in her own reality; instead, it feels more like her doing everything that she can to save what is left. Things are going to ratchet up, and somewhere along the way we imagine she’ll realize that she can’t stay there forever. She is going to have to move forward at some point. But what does that mean for Vision? What does she learn that applies to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? We do think that there is a little bit of value to this, according to cartermatt.

Also, remember that there are some greater mysteries left to think about here, as well. Take, for example, all of the Mephisto buzz that is out there — or, possible involvement in some other forces. We’re not sure that this is a show meant to have a season 2, so there’s a lot that needs to be taken on sooner rather than later. (We could envision something more for the Scarlet Witch character in series form, but we’re not sure that it would look or feel anything like this.)
