New Movies And TV Shows To Stream on Hulu This May 2021

As the weather warms up, the releases are heating up on Hulu! This month, we’ve got plenty of hot titles to look forward to, with an exciting new batch of movies and shows landing on Hulu to kick off the warmer months. In the new few weeks, we can get excited to see a whole bunch of highly anticipated releases, including the final season of Aidy Bryant’s Shrill, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K, and more.

This month, Hulu is also rolling out Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., a new animated series featuring voice work from Patton Oswalt, on May 21. Plus, we can look forward to more animal antics in Season 3 of Madagascar: A Little Wild, which premieres on Hulu May 27.

MADAGASCAR: A LITTLE WILD: COMPLETE SEASON 3

Madagascar: A Little Wild is an American computer-animated comedy streaming television series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. It is the third TV series in the Madagascar franchise and the second prequel to the 2005 film.

The series features Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe residing in a rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo.

The series was released to Hulu and Peacock on September 7, 2020. A Halloween special was released on October 21, 2020. The second season was released on December 11, 2020. The third season will be released on May 27, 2021.

On January 17, 2020, Hulu released a statement that Madagascar: A Little Wild was to be one of three new series as part of a deal with DreamWorks Animation. The synopsis was confirmed and a promo image was released.

The release date was later confirmed to be September 7th 2020, as a trailer was revealed by DreamWorks.

SHRILL: COMPLETE SEASON 3 PREMIERE

The show centers on Annie (Bryant), a self-described fat woman who's on a mission to change her life but not her body. For two seasons, we've watched her navigate life, love, and work, all in a body that the world tells her is wrong. And now we're going to see the final chapter

At the end of season two, fans watched Annie step into her power by way of dumping her loser boyfriend, Ryan (Luka Jones), and demand better for herself when it comes to relationships—and life. Bryant posted on January 27 that the show's final season is coming this spring.

The premiere date. Shrill season three will premiere May 7, the show confirmed in February.

MARVEL’S M.O.D.O.K.: SERIES PREMIERE

Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. (aka Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) will break out of the Disney Plus box. This upcoming series is going to that other Disney-owned streaming service: Hulu.

For those unfamiliar with the titular Marvel villain, the M.O.D.O.K. show has two big things going for it. The first is that the series has a big Robot Chicken-like aesthetic. The second is that Patton Oswalt is voicing M.O.D.O.K..

Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. series hits Hulu on May 21. This places it in the window between The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (March 19) and Loki (June 11).

The entire M.O.D.O.K. series of 10 episodes will launch in one big batch, unlike the Marvel shows on Disney Plus, which have weekly episodic releases.
