Every year on March 1st, a large number of Welsh-descended Canadians or others with Welsh ties celebrate St David's Day. On this day, daffodils or leeks attached to clothes are common sights, as is the Welsh flag.

24 Mar Sunday Purim
Purim marks the Jewish people’s deliverance from a royal death decree around the fourth century BCE, as told in the Book of Esther. Many Jewish Canadians celebrate it on the 14th day of the month of Adar in the Jewish calendar, which is in February or March in the Gregorian calendar.
Purim is not a public holiday. It falls on Sunday, 24 March 2024 and most businesses follow regular Sunday opening hours in Canada.

30 Mar Saturday Holy Saturday
To honor the conclusion of Lent before celebrating Easter, a large number of Christians in Canada attend an Easter vigil service on Holy Saturday. The rituals start in the dark and end with lights being lit to symbolize Jesus Christ's resurrection. On Holy Saturday, certain churches hold baptisms or renewals of baptismal vows.

As part of their long weekend holiday, some choose to stay in motels, resorts, or cottages, while others choose for bed and breakfast packages.
Easter Saturday is when a lot of families prepare their Easter eggs. Paint, crayons, watercolors, stickers, and other materials are used by kids to decorate eggs. Easter baskets frequently contain these eggs. This time of year is when chocolate Easter eggs are most popular.
