Her appearance gave her money
Josephine Myrtle Corbin was naturally beautiful. Many doctors examined her and concluded that her health condition was very good and she could live and function like a normal person.
People at that time were curious about her strange appearance, so her father decided to make money from her strange appearance by collecting money from people who wanted to admire his daughter. At the age of 13, she and her father traveled from place to place, using her strange appearance to collect huge amounts of money for the family. Despite her beauty, she still became a famous performer and determined to live her life to the fullest.
By visiting small towns and cities and performing for the public, Josephine was able to earn up to $450 (£342) per week. P.T. Barnum, the famous showman, eventually heard about her and hired her for his show, where she worked for four years. |

According to the doctor, Josephine responded with skepticism, saying, "If it had been in my right side, I would be more inclined to believe you are correct." Doctors determined that she preferred intercourse on her right side. |
Three months into her pregnancy, she became very ill, and doctors advised her to have an abortion.
The couple had five children (four girls and one boy).
Three of her children were allegedly born from one set of her reproductive organs and two from the other.
