Euro 2024 Qualifying: Teams

The top 20 teams from each of the ten groups will automatically qualify for the Euros.

Germany will be represented by the top two teams from Groups A through J, with three additional nations advancing via play-offs.

The UEFA Nations League in 2022–2023 will determine which 12 nations compete in the play-offs in March 2024.

Leagues A, B, and C group winners all receive automatic play-off spots; however, if they have already qualified, the next-best-ranked team in their league will take their place.

The process filters down to the next league, ending with League D, if there are not enough non-qualified teams in the current league.

Then, on Thursday, March 21, there will be six semi-finals, followed by three finals on Tuesday, March 26.

With an average summertime temperature in Berlin between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius, the weather in Germany in June and July is very similar to that of the UK.

So neither the players nor the spectators should have a problem with the weather.

The majority of the games' kickoff times are still to be determined, but we do know when the first group game will begin.

The Allianz Arena is scheduled to open at 9 p.m. CEST, or 8 p.m. UK time.

Euro 2024: Venues

Germany will host the premier international competition for UEFA this year, and ten stadiums have been chosen.

One such location will be the 66,000-seat Signal Iduna Park (BVB Stadion Dortmund) of Borussia Dortmund.

The Veltins Arena (Arena AufSchalke) will also be used by Schalke, a close neighbor of Dortmund.

Although not all of the stadiums are close to one another, Germany has an excellent rail system that will make it easy to get to all of the venues.
