World Cup 2022 Schedule - Group H Teams: Prediction and Preview
Group H of the 2022 World Cup is a very interesting group with the presence of 4 notable teams from 4 main continents: Portugal, Korea, Ghana and Uruguay. The highest rating is of course the Portuguese team.
Portugal came to Qatar with a salvage ticket, but their strength is undisputed. The bravery of superstar Ronaldo, along with the high performance of the quality players, makes them considered to have the first ticket to continue in Group H.
The opponent that is considered to cause difficulties for the remaining teams in Group H of the World Cup 2022 is Uruguay. They have a quality squad and extremely annoying gameplay. However, Uruguay's current form is not really impressive. It is very difficult for them to put pressure on this group.
The fact that the Uruguay team is not in good shape can open up the opportunity to continue for the Korean team, the elite representative from Asia. Passing the qualifiers easily, the goal of Son Heung Min and his teammates will certainly not stop at the 2022 World Cup group stage.
The remaining team of Group H is Ghana, a name that always contains many surprises of the black continent. The team performed poorly at AFCON 2021 but had a convincing journey in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and defeated Nigeria in the play-off.
The remaining ticket in Group H will be divided equally among 3 teams Uruguay, Korea and Ghana. But with the same form and quality of the squad, it is slightly better. Therefore, the representative of Asia is considered brighter.

Group H World Cup - Start Times in Different Time Zone |
Portugal
Portugal is still the brightest candidate for the top position in Group H. Coach Fernando Santos' army has a good squad of players playing in Europe with an even squad in all three lines. However, the real strength of the Portuguese team is still a question mark, especially in the story of the attack.
In the last World Cup, Portugal had to work very hard to get through the group stage. That year, Ronaldo alone scored 4 of the 5 goals of the betel nut team. This year, Ronaldo is in extremely bad form from the beginning of the season. Along with the absence of Jota, does coach Fernando Santos have any plans?

Uruguay
The lucky draw put Portugal in the same group with Uruguay - the team that eliminated Ronaldo and his teammates from the 2018 World Cup. This year, the representative from South America deserves to be one of the most worthy teams to watch in this World Cup. Coach Diego Alonso will most likely bring to Qatar a squad with a mix of veterans and bright morning stars.
The tournament in Qatar also marked a generational transition for Uruguayan football. The veterans associated with the success of Uruguayan football for more than a decade, such as Godin, Suarez, Cavani, will enjoy the World Cup that can be considered the last. In contrast, the morning stars like Nunez, Pellistri will be familiar with the atmosphere of the biggest football festival on the planet.
The challenge for Uruguay's journey to the top of the table lies in the fact that coach Diego Alonso has not had much time to work with this team. He has just taken over at "La Celeste" since 2021 and is laying the first bricks for a fresh Uruguayan team, after 15 years with coach Oscar Tabarez.

Ghana
Ghana is not participating in the 2018 World Cup, therefore, the representative from Africa will set high determination in this season. Coach Otto Addo recently announced the focus list of Ghana's national team for the 2022 World Cup. It is not surprising that the most notable stars of this team have been summoned, in which the outstanding stars are kicking. in the Premier League.
Thomas Partey will still be the mainstay of the "Black Stars" in the next tournament. Arsenal's midfielder is in very high form from the beginning of the season and if he maintains his form at the club to the national team, Ghanaian fans have the right to hope for a favorable result.
Some other notable players of the Ghana team can be mentioned as Jordan brothers - Andre Ayew, Salisu, Amartey, Kudus or Inaki Williams. Notably, Inaki Williams is strong enough to play for Spain, like his younger brother Nico. However, the Bilbao star chose to play for the African team.

South Korea
Since winning the ticket to the semi-finals of the World Cup 2022, (the most scandalous achievement in the tournament's history), the Korean team has only had one more time to pass the group stage of a World Cup. Not long ago, Son Heung Min affirmed with determination that he and his teammates would not go to Qatar just to see Ronaldo. That statement partly reflects the depth of the gap that separates the Korean team from the rest.
Son is not the only star in the Korean national team at the moment. Besides him, there are also Hwang Ui Jo, Hwang Hee Chan or morning star Lee Kang In and the defender who is kicking very hard on his feet, Kim Min Jae. But for Korean fans, a "miracle" like the way the Kimchi team defeated Germany at Kazan four years ago is more realistic than a place in the knockout round.
Can the Korean team make a "shock" at this year's World Cup? Or will Son Heung Min and his teammates' journey in Qatar soon end in the worst case scenario, like how this team experienced in the 2014 tournament?
Current FIFA world ranking: No. 28 (November, 2022)
Regional ranking: 3rd (AFC)
World Cup titles: —
World Cup appearances (last): 10 (Russia 2018)
How qualified: AFC Third Round Group A runners-up 7W-L1-D2
Coach: Paulo Bento (Portugal) since August, 2018
Key players: Son Heung-min (Tottenham / England), Hwang Hee-chan (Wolves / England), Kim Min-jae (Napoli / Italy)
Star to Wach
Group H is where the audience will see the competition of the top strikers. It's Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, Cavani - Suarez of Uruguay as well as Son Heung Min of South Korea.
But Group H isn't just about strikers. Thomas Partey or Valverde are both notable names. Besides, having to restrain the top strikers will be an opportunity for defender Kim Min Jae to show off his ability.
Key Match
The confrontation between Ghana vs Uruguay will be the most notable match in Group H. The match between Ghana vs Uruguay will decide the ticket to the next round of both representatives. Not to mention, the African representative has not forgotten what happened in the summer of 2010, so the winning and losing of this match is even higher.
Table Prediction
1. Uruguay
2. Portugal
3. Ghana
4. Korea
