The intrepid Ukrainian decided to quit her career and pursue modeling full-time. She now travels around the world, having recently jetted to Dubai before returning to Ukraine prior to Russia’s invasion.

Lenna took to Instagram Monday, telling her hundreds of thousands of new Instagram fans that she wanted peace for all.

“I had a normal life just on Wednesday, like millions of people,” she explained in a post. “I am not military, just a woman, just a normal human. Just a person, like all people of my country.”

She explained that the images of herself holding weapons were not intended to promote violence, and that they were snaps taken while she was playing airsoft (a game similar to paintball and laser tag).

“All pictures in my profile [are] to inspire people … I don’t do any propaganda except showing our women of Ukraine — strong, confident and powerful. I appreciate all attention and support to my country, all people in Ukraine we fight every day against Russian aggression.”

After the Russian attack, Leba Anastassia - Miss Grand Ukraine 2015 - have reportedly joined the Ukrainian military to safeguard her nation.

Ever since the Russian attack, Miss Grand Ukraine continuously urged for support and for donations to the Ukrainian armed forces.

Anastasiia Lenna is also staying very active on her social media by sharing stories supporting her country. Lenna has nearly 137k followers on Instagram, under the handle, @anastasiia.lenna.

She has been sharing various Instagram and Twitter stories addressing the crisis. Lenna, who represented Ukraine in the 2015 Miss Grand International beauty contest, shared a series of photos of herself where she can be seen carrying a gun and is in military uniform.

In one of the posts she shared on Feb 25, Lena wrote: “Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed!.” She has shared a photo showing soldiers walking with Ukrainian President Zelensky, and called him a “true and strong leader.”

She also requested people, ”Stop Russian aggression! Speak up, world!! Now!!”

Anastasiia Lenna says her family fought by Russia against Nazi Germany during World War II. However, she is now sad as Russia is now fighting against Ukraine.

As per her Instagram posts, Lenna has joined the army in response to Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko stating in a news briefing, ''Many people are ready to fight for the country. They ask me for weapons. Many of the people have military backgrounds that are why we have built civilian defence. Every man and woman who are proud of their country can take weapons and defend it."

She also shared various information about food, shelter and more via her Instagram stories in order to assist the distressed people of the country. Additionally, she called on her international followers and netizens to extend their support to Ukraine and contribute towards safeguarding the people facing the aftermath of war.

Although it's unknown if Anastasiia is part of this military force, she has been posting pictures of shooting drills for years on her personal Instagram account. Meaning she at least knows how to use one of those assault rifles.

Based on the photo posted on social media, it is easy to see that she returned to Ukraine from Turkey.

There is currently no information about where Miss Ukraine is in Ukraine. If he really joined the army, there is no information about her military unit and location yet.
