Thank you, everybody. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you, Matt, for that great introduction. And thank you for this big crowd. This is incredible. Really incredible. We have all come a long way together. We have come a long way together.

I’m thrilled to be back at CPAC, with so many of my wonderful friends and amazing supporters and proud conservatives. Remember when I first started running? Because I wasn’t a politician, fortunately, but do you remember I started running and people said, are you sure he’s a conservative? I think I proved I’m a conservative.

When is Trump speaking on CPAC?

Former President Donald Trump will speak at the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Florida will host a gathering of top conservatives this weekend when Conservative Political Action Conference 2021 "America Uncanceled" comes to Orlando. The main events begin the morning of Friday, Feb. 26 and wrap up on the evening of Sunday, Feb. 28. Former President Donald Trump will close out the conference with a speech at 3:40 p.m. It will mark his first post-White House appearance.

The conference marks the first significant gathering of Republicans since the election and its aftermath. Conference organizers, representing the first camp, did not invite any of the 17 Republican members of Congress who voted to support Trump’s second impeachment or any major Trump critics.

"You're going to see a speech on Sunday that talks about not only the beginning, but what the future may look like, and I'm excited about it," former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows told Fox News.

"I spoke to President Trump last night for a fairly lengthy conversation where [we] were talking about America, where it needs to go, continuing the America first agenda."

"But more importantly than that, how this president - Biden - has undermined that particular policy within days, and we see it."

This year's CPAC will bring together conservative lawmakers, activists, and Republican Party officials to Orlando, Florida.

Former Vice President Mike Pence declined to speak at CPAC, while it was reported that Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell did not receive an invitation at all, according to the Independent.

What is Donald Trump planning?

Former President Trump is expected to use the speech to talk about the future of the Republican Party and the conservative moment, as well as to criticize President Joe Biden’s efforts to undo his immigration policies, according to a person who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the plans.

Trump has been keeping a relatively low profile since he retired from the White House to Palm Beach, Florida, in January, but reemerged last week to conduct a series of phone-in interviews to commemorate the death of conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh.

Trump has a long history with CPAC, which played a key role in his emergence as a political force.

Former President Trump allegedly wants to start a political action committee that is run by his ex-adviser.

The former president is eyeing up Corey Lewandowski to head up the new super PAC, Fox News reported.

Lewandowski served as Trump's campaign manager in 2016, before being fired in the 2016 presidential primaries.

He remained close with the president, acting as an outside adviser, before becoming a top adviser on Trump's 2020 re-election run.

The decision to start the new venture was reportedly made during a meeting last week in Mar-a-Lago when Trump met with his political team.

At the meeting, according to the outlet, was 2020 campaign managers Bill Stepien and Brad Parscale, senior adviser Jason Miller, former White House social media director Dan Scavino, and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

Sources told Fox that, while Trump's post-presidency activities were discussed, plans to start the PAC were not final.

"MAGA supporters and candidates supporting President Trump’s America First agenda are going to be impressed with the political operation being built out here," Miller told the outlet.

"We expect formal announcements of the full team in the coming weeks, which will include some very talented operatives not yet named."

President in 2024?

It is rumored he will announce plans to run for president in 2024.

Sources said he will go between "warming up to the idea of a 2024 run, and walking right up to the line of announcing another campaign”.
