A Look At Tottenham Hotspur’s Betting Odds

There is no denying that Tottenham has had a tough week, losing Harry Kane to injury in a 3-1 defeat by Liverpool and then going down 1-0 at Brighton, News Bwin cites.

Spurs, who topped the table in December, have now won just two of their past nine league games and face an uphill battle to get back into the Champions League places.

Kane has scored or assisted 23 of Tottenham’s 34 Premier League goals this season, so he will obviously be sorely missed again here.

However, captain Hugo Lloris insists the best way to bounce back is by beating London rivals Chelsea.

“We can feel the team with a bit of a lack of confidence, but we have to look forward,” the goalkeeper told Tottenham’s website.

“The big game is coming Thursday, it’s maybe the best way to react as a team. It’s the moment to stick together.

“There is a lot of disappointment from the players, from the manager and coaching staff, from the fans – because we expect more from us.

“It’s a situation we need to fix as a team. The confidence will be back as soon as we get one good result.”

Son Heung-min had a goal against Liverpool ruled out by a marginal VAR decision and tested Brighton keeper Robert Sanchez late on, so he is Tottenham’s major threat.

Let’s go for him to grab a 13th league goal of the season in a 1-0 home win, which is 28/1 in the Tottenham vs Chelsea odds.

Last Spurs line-up: Lloris, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rodon, Davies, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Son, Bale, Bergwijn.

A Look At Chelsea’s Betting Odds

Chelsea improved on a dour draw with Wolves when beating Burnley 2-0 in Tuchel’s second match in charge.

However, it is slightly concerning that their expensively-assembled strike force again faltered versus the Clarets.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso were the unlikely scoring duo, as summer recruit Timo Werner’s miseries extended to a return of just one goal in 17 matches in all competitions.

“He gives everything, but every striker is sensitive and nothing helps them more than goals,” said Tuchel.

“If they miss goals for a certain amount of time, it’s the same for all of them. So this is nothing special for Timo, it happens to every striker in the world.

“As long as he has the impact and tries everything, we will support him.”

But Tuchel did admit: “Confidence is something that comes with good performances. As long as he lacks goals, he won’t be at 100 percent.”

Chelsea and Spurs canceled each other out in a goalless stalemate at Stamford Bridge at the end of November, at a time when they were on six and five-match winning runs respectively.

Given their recent struggles ahead of this contest, 20/23 for under 2.5 goals in the game is a percentage pick to finish off our Tottenham vs Chelsea betting tips.

Last Chelsea line-up: Mendy, Rudiger, Alonso, Silva, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Werner.
