How to watch Man United vs Tottenham Live Stream, Online

The Premier League's TV rights are split between a number of broadcasters, and we've recently had an update on what's happening after the current deal ends with the close of this 2021/22 season.

An "in principle agreement" has been arranged that basically means, subject to formal government approval, Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and BBC Sport will continue to share rights from the 2022/23 season to the end of the 2024/25 season.

Sky Sports / NOW

Sky usually gets the lion's share of live Premier League games – and it will have 146 fixtures this time around, all broadcast in glorious HD.

There are a variety of Sky Sports viewing options available for new customers. Note that setup fees apply.

If you prefer, you can build your own package starting with the Sky TV and Netflix combo (£25/month for 18 months at time of writing) and add on the channels that you'd like. For example, if you just wanted to add Sky Sports Premier League rather than the complete channel pack (arguably better value if you like watching lots of different kinds of sports), then that's currently £18 per month.

BT Sport

BT Sport had the rights to just over 50 Premier League fixtures during the 2020/21 campaign, and will also carry coverage of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League until 2024, following a multi-million-pound rights deal secured in late 2019.

Remember that BT Sport also features coverage from the Bundesliga, and holds rights to Moto GP, Premiership Rugby, UFC and WWE coverage as well. And it will also have the new UEFA Europa Conference League, which will feature Tottenham Hotspur this season.

If you also want BT Broadband, there are a number of viewing options, all of which you can see and sign up for here. There are options to save on its Sport or Big Sport offerings (the latter also bundles NOW's Sky Sports membership).

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon is a relative newcomer to live Premier League coverage. It usually has around 20 matches per season under the current rights agreement, and in 2019/20, it secured all of the showpiece Boxing Day fixtures.

There are some other cool football-related pieces of programming in Amazon's library, including All or Nothing: Manchester City, going behind the scenes of their successful 2017/18 season, and Six Dreams, a fly-on-the-wall look at La Liga in Spain. A new series of All or Nothing has been commissioned for 2021/22, following Arsenal.

It also broadcasts sports including the US Open tennis championships, other ATP World Tour tennis events and NFL games, and has an increasingly broad library of sports documentaries. And you can watch tournaments like the Australian Open via the Eurosport Player add-on.

Tottenham’s 2-0 win in autumn looked to have elicited a power-shifting moment in the Premier League, with Mourinho masterminding his side to the summit of the table and they looked good value for their lead. Of course, the cards eventually came tumbling down and culminated in his eventual dismissal, but that match proved that when Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are at it, they can cause problems for any side.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City: Predictions

Spurs targeting top spot

Amid talk of possible title tilts in North London, Tottenham Hotspur face a huge test of their lofty aspirations on Saturday when they take on a Manchester City team determined to put themselves back in the mix near the top end of the table.

Saturday’s heavyweight showdown pits old adversaries Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola against each other from opposing dugouts, though the Citizens’ boss – who came out on top in 11 and lost just six of his 23 previous meetings with Mourinho will feel he has the edge ahead of their latest face-off.

Armed with a seven-league match unbeaten run and powered by the performances of dynamic duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, Spurs head into the weekend’s face-off from a position of strength however, and City will have to be at their best to deliver a telling blow.

City need more wins

Man City, currently residing in 10th place, find themselves in unfamiliar territory ahead of their trip to the capital, thanks to a return of just three wins from seven games in the opening exchanges of the new Premier League campaign.

With six wins and three draws from nine games in all competitions, the Citizens had started to find a more familiar flow in the run up to the international break however, though they missed a huge opportunity to put a real marker down following a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool in their most recent outing.

A win at Spurs would push City back to within swinging distance of the Premier League summit however, and the dethroned former champions will be going all out to gather the points they need this weekend.

Goals likely in North London

Both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will feel their star-studded teams wield the attacking weaponry to outscore the other on Saturday, and that should ensure supporters are treated to a gripping end-to-ender in London.

With the aforementioned Kane and Son supplying a superb 15 goals between them, Spurs have averaged a net-shredding 2.37 goals per 90 minutes of Premier League action so far this season, while Man City will land in the capital having averaged just under 2.0 goals per game since the end of September.

The last seven Premier League head-to-heads between Spurs and City produced a meaty 21 goals, and with so much stardust on show this weekend, we’re expecting more excitement when these title hopefuls lock horns again.

In what promises to be a real ding-dong title tussle, the over 2.5 goals and both teams to score market jumps out at a price worth backing, while our correct score prediction tips the teams to share the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

With just one defeat between them in a combined 23 fixtures before the international break, Tottenham and Man City both have momentum to draw from, and the big-hitters could cancel each other out come full time.

Spurs scored twice against City when they last played and beat the Citizens 2-0 back in February at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though the 10-man Manchester giants racked up an incredible 19 attempts without finding the net.

The teams were locked at 2-2 when they traded blows in their reverse fixture last term in a contest that was a fairer reflection of the underlying numbers, and the evidence suggests a similar outcome is possible when they renew acquaintances on Saturday.

Anytime goalscorer tip: Son Heung-min

Spurs forward Son Heung-min scored four times in his last four appearances against Man City, and the flying South Korean attacker has developed a real penchant for producing the goods against the Citizens.

With eight goals in eight Premier League appearances this season, Son has confidence to burn and the 28-year-old should provide plenty of threat against City again.
