Fine tools like the Gothica, La Modernista Diamonds, and the Caran d'Ache 1010 are made with the help of this knowledge and skilled craftsmanship.

It was the most expensive fountain pen ever when it was unveiled in 2007, and only 9 were made. The pen has an 18k gold nib, more than 800 diamonds, three variations with rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, and a white gold body.
