With Apple's AirPods, you can listen to your favorite music, audiobooks, and podcasts just like any other pair of true wireless earbuds. But if you know the right tricks, you can do a lot more, like talk to Siri, control music playback, and enhance the audio. You can also check and preserve the battery charge on your AirPods and hunt them down if they’re missing. Below are 7 tips to help you get the most out of your AirPods, according to Sea.pcmag.
1. Pair AirPods With an iPad
If you want to use your AirPods with an iPad after pairing them with your iPhone, Apple does the work for you. When you pair your AirPods with an Apple device, iCloud syncs that pairing with any other Apple devices connected to your Apple account. On your iPad, swipe to display the Control Center, then long-press on the Music card. Tap the music source icon and change it to your AirPods to use them with your iPad.

2. Save Battery Life = Keep One in and Keep Swapping Buds
I've never run out of AirPod battery life in a single day, but if you're a power user making lots of phone calls, you might find them running low. One AirPod can work on its own as a Bluetooth headset. Keep the other in the case to charge, and then swap as needed. The other bud takes over seamlessly, noted by Cnet.
3. Rename Your AirPods
By default, your AirPods are named after you, as in John's AirPods. If you want to name them something else, turn to your iPhone and go to Settings > Bluetooth > info icon > Name, then tap the Name field to type the new name. Tap Done and then Back.
4. Control Music With a Press
You can control the flow of music by pressing the stem of either your left or right AirPods Pro. To do this, you’ll need to press the stem with your thumb and forefinger until you hear a low click. Press once to pause/play, double-press to skip forward to the next track, and triple-press to skip backward to the previous track.
5. AirBuddy for Mac
When you’re using AirPods with your iPhone or iPad, the integration is virtually flawless. There are slick animations, automatic pairing and device switching, and quick access to controls and battery life information. On the Mac, the experience is less impressive. AirBuddy is an app from 9to5Mac’s Gui Rambo and it brings quick access to AirPods and other Bluetooth devices to your Mac’s menu bar, as regarded in 9to5mac.

6. Noise Cancellation
The AirPods Pro offers two different listening modes that can help clamp down on background noise. The Noise Cancellation feature blocks out virtually all background sounds, so this feature can come in handy in a noisy environment where you want to be able to clearly hear your audio.
You can switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode with just a long-press on the stem of either AirPod Pro until you hear a chime. If you prefer to go through your iPhone, there are two options available.
7. Find Your Lost AirPods

Did you lose your AirPods again? Don't worry. You can track them down through your iPhone or iPad. On your iOS/iPadOS device, open the Find My App. Make sure you're signed in with your Apple account. Tap the entry for your AirPods and the map should pinpoint their location. If the earbuds are out of the case and paired with your iPhone or iPad, you can also find them with a sound. Tap the Actions link, then tap Play Sound. Your AirPods emit a beeping noise to help you locate them. |
If you find the aforementioned information effective and useful, don't hesitate to share it to your friends, thanks a lot!
