When is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3 released on Disney Plus?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3 will be released on Friday, April 2, at midnight PDT/3AM EDT/8AM GMT. New episodes will arrive on the streamer every Friday at the same time.

With Daylight Savings now coming into effect in the UK, British viewers will now be eight hours behind the US Pacific time zone (and five behind its Eastern time zone). UK audiences had been able to enjoy episodes 1 and 2 at an earlier time of 7AM but, now that the clocks have gone forward by an hour, some of you should note that subsequent episodes won't unlock on UK shores until 8AM.

The latest MCU series follows Sam and Bucky as the duo try to acclimatize to life after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The duo were two of the heroes Blipped out of existence by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but they were brought back to life after the remaining Avengers reassembled the Infinity Stones and reversed Thanos' original act.

Now, they're facing threats both new and old, including the Flag Smashers, Bucky's old enemy from Captain America: Civil War - Helmut Zemo - and a new Captain America. Hey, nobody said it would be easy for them despite their return, as reported by Techradar.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be shorter than WandaVision, but only in its number of episodes. Kevin Feige has said The Falcon and The Winter Soldier runs 6 hours over its six episodes (whereas WandaVision ran around the same time, over 9 episodes)

Who is Falcon?

Anthony Mackie, who plays the role of Falcon or Sam Wilson, was a close friend of Captain America, aka Steve Rogers. The two protagonists bonded while running in the 2014 film 'Captain America: Winter Soldier' and formed a tight friendship that flourishes in this buddy action-comedy show of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who is the Winter Soldier?

James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, aka Sebastian Stan, was one of Steve Rogers' closest childhood friends. They fought together in World War II, before Bucky was seemingly killed in action, as seen in 'Captain America: First Avenger'.

But Bucky wasn't dead: He was scooped up by HYDRA, a terrorist organization that's been around for hundreds of years but is usually associated with Nazi Germany. The group brainwashed and experimented on him, giving him superhuman abilities - though he lost his arm. He did HYDRA's bidding for the next few decades until his mission to eliminate Captain America went awry in 'Winter Soldier' and he went on the run before teaming up with the Avengers. Shuri, the sister of the Black Panther/King T'Challa of Wakanda, helped Bucky overcome his brainwashing.
