It is the boldest of bold moves from Jaguar: an all-electric SUV, the first credible rival to Tesla’s premium EV dominance, a car that beats its German rivals to market, and a radical piece of design. Storm Motors, an electric vehicle startup company, has announced the opening of pre-bookings for its new flagship product Storm R3, an all-electric personal mobility vehicle. The company will be producing a limited number of these two-seat three-wheeled electric cars in 2021. Having recently opened pre-bookings for the R3, Strom states that it has already gathered $1 million + in orders in just the first four days.

Mercedes-Benz EQC

The EQC would have paired two electric motors with a lithium-ion battery. A one-speed direct-drive transmission was used to power to all four wheels. This powertrain would have provided a total output of 402 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. We never had the chance to test the EQC, but Mercedes-Benz estimated that it would have made the sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. That would have put it behind its key rival in this segment, the Tesla Model X. Tesla claims a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.4 seconds for the Long Range model and 2.7 seconds for the high-performance variant with Ludicrous mode engaged.

You can expect max powers of 40bhp from this vehicle, along with peak torque of 105 Nm. Under ideal driving conditions, this car can reach speeds of 80kmph.

Equipped with the advanced Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), the Kona Electric is considered one of the best electric vehicles in India. It has a fierce pickup reaching 100kmph in just under 10 seconds.
Along with its spectacular mileage, this car can produce immense torque at 395 Nm. Power-wise, the Kona Electric can generate around 134bhp under ideal conditions.

Another Mahindra offering, the e-Verito is a sedan, unlike the e2oPlus. It is equipped with a similar AC-induction, three-phase motor.
However, this vehicle offers an immense boot space, around 510-litre, which makes it perfect for hauling large bags and equipment.
Additional features include an electro-hydraulic power steering and tubeless steel wheels. However, it is only available in a Diamond White shade.
