• Lucas Digne will almost certainly not recover from injury in time to face Switzerland.
• With Lucas Hernandez also a major doubt, Lyon's Leo Dubois may have to play out of his normal position at left-back here.
• Benjamin Pavard will Jules Kounde at right-back and Adrien Rabiot will come in for Corentin Tolisso if he can shake off an ankle problem.
• Marcus Thuram and Thomas Lemar are also major doubts after reportedly picking up injuries in training on Thursday.

France (-195) didn’t impress us at all. They came to EURO as the biggest favorite to win the silverware, but the Gauls weren’t as dominant as many expected during the group stage.

Yes, we are aware that their Group F was the strongest, but that isn’t an alibi for poor performances that came down to waiting for the chance to strike on a break. France is the reigning World champion, and they need to do better. Deschamps mustn’t rely upon Mbappe‘s quickness all the time because PSG’s striker might have a bad day at one point.

The French team is without a defeat in 10 games, and during that time, they had six clean sheets. Five of them were just before the last two matches against Hungary and Portugal.

Switzerland (+600) was more than motivated against Turkey to show its worth. And they’ve demonstrated it in the best possible way. Some would say that their opponents were too weak, but we won’t agree with such a claim. The Swiss side was dominant right from the start, which was the only reason why they posted the first win at EURO 2020.

We need to remind that Vladimir Petkovic’s side had numerous chances against Wales. Instead of solving the Dragons immediately after a scored goal, Switzerland allowed the rivals to comeback and level the result. Even though there were several solid chances in the final few minutes, but Swiss players couldn’t utilize them.

A defeat against Italy is the only one in the past 10 for this unit, which has been pretty efficient during that stretch scoring two or more goals seven times.

France is the absolute favorite, as we already said. Despite them being a bit slower and without the expected energy, they should beat Switzerland who is a solid unit but far from the Gauls’ level. France don’t like to do things comfortably at the moment do they? Their opening Euro 2016 match against Romania saw them dominate the game, but a silly penalty resulted in the Romanians bagging an equaliser and making things extraordinarily difficult for the host nation. However, Dimitri Payet was on hand to score a stunner of a winner in the closing stages of the game.

Switzerland have been anything but convincing. They opened the tournament with a hard fought 1-0 win over Albania, with the only goal of the game coming from an early goalkeeping error that allowed Fabian Schar to head in the opener. However, despite playing almost an hour with an additional man thanks to Lorik Cana’s red card, Switzerland just couldn’t find any comfort against Albania. The underdogs could have levelled things up as well, and Switzerland, in the end, were quite fortunate to come away with all three points considering their disappointing performance.

They weren’t so fortunate against Romania. The Swiss missed a catalogue of early chances, mainly thanks to Haris Seferovic, before giving away a penalty which was dispatched by Bogdan Stancu. Switzerland did dominate the game to be fair to them, but it wasn’t until the 57th minute that Admir Mehmedi finally put the ball in the net with an unstoppable strike. Neither team could find a winner though and had to settle for a point.

France, although the top spot would be secured with a draw, will want to finish with the maximum points and put a true marker on the tournament. Switzerland should be a little more enterprising in their attacking play than Albania and Romania too, which will give France a lot more space in the final third. We saw what this can result in in the final minute against Albania, when a desperate Albania side pushed forward only to see the rapid France counter attack finish the game off.

I’m fully expecting France to get the win on Sunday, and odds of 19/20 for this outcome look exceptionally good value considering the talents they possess and Switzerland’s poor showing so far. I’m going for a 3-1 correct score prediction at huge odds of 16/1 as well.

Switzerland started out in Group A with a 1-1 draw versus Wales when the better side for long periods but were then hammered 3-0 by Italy.

Beating Turkey 3-1 put them back on track, with Liverpool playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri hitting a double in Baku.
