Detailed time to watch live stream from London, Tokyo, New York…

Today Outriders quasi-launches with a new demo featuring all four classes, a bunch of early missions and progress that carries over until the full release of the game, according to Forbes.

You may be wondering what time you can start playing the Outriders demo, and to answer another question, no, there is no way to pre-load the demo before it comes online.

The above image shows the different region times, but in case you can’t see it, we have:

• 9 AM PST

• 12 PM ET

• 2 PM BRT

• 5 PM GMT

• 6 PM CET

• 8 PM MSK

• 9 PM GST

• 2 AM JST on February 26

• 4 AM AEDT on February 26

As for end times? There are no end times. Once the Outriders demo is live, it’s staying live through the release of the game, which will make it an opportunity for anyone to try out the game before they buy it.

How to download Outriders Demo

The Outriders demo begins at 12pm ET / 9am PT on February 25, 2021. Pre-loading is not available.

1. Turn on your PS4 or PS5.

2. Go to the PlayStation Store.

3. Search for Outriders.

4. Select the Outriders Demo.

5. Select Download Demo.

Similarly on PC, you can go to playstation.com and follow the same steps. Once the demo is live you'll be able to download it as long as you're signed into your account. You can find the Outriders demo here.

To begin, the Demo will be available to any console that is going to be released on. That would be PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC through Steam (sorry Switch lads), AOTF reported.

Its full size is looking to be around 22GB for consoles and 24GB for the PC. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to pre-load the game, so everyone needs to start downloading it right when the Demo is actually released digitally.

For consoles, you need to go to the corresponding e-shop, that being the Microsoft Store, or PS Store. If the Demo is not visible right away, use the ‘Search’ bar to look for it, by typing ‘Outriders’, or ‘Outriders Demo’, depending on how the team will label it. Select it and simply click ‘Download’.

For the PC, you just need to follow the same exact process, but through the Steam platform. Make sure to search it up if it doesn’t appear at your home page.

The Outriders Demo will be permanently available to the store, so if you are not able to play it right away, there is nothing to worry about. It will be there at any given time, so there is no reason to rush.

Outriders is set to officially release on April 1, for every available platform except the Nintendo Switch.

What's in the Outriders demo?

The Outriders demo includes a generous amount of content. For starters, all four classes will be available to choose from. All six character slots will be in the demo, too, meaning there’s more than enough room to experiment and explore the different classes.

In terms of story content, you’ll have access to the prologue and Outriders’ opening chapter. You’ll get to play right up to and including the confrontation with antagonist Gauss. After defeating them, more side content will become available, which you can also play.

Your character’s level is capped at 7, and People Can Fly says that’s enough to unlock four active abilities. You’ll also get two skill points you can spend anywhere you like in the skill tree.

As for difficulty, only up to World Tier 5 is available in the demo. World Tiers are essentially difficulty levels, which you climb up/down through dynamically as you play. The better you do, the higher World Tiers you’ll activate, and the more interesting the rewards become. There are also other limitations on resources and materials, which are in place to avoid cases where players grind out the demo and get a big advantage at launch.

Beyond that, the game’s crafting system will not be part of the demo, so you’ll have to make do with dropped loot.

Outriders demo cross-play

The Outriders demo supports cross-play between all of the game’s platforms. The feature is being beta tested over the next couple of weeks, so you’ll need to manually turn it on in the game’s settings if you want to play with friends across different platforms.

Seeing as Outriders is an entirely PvE game, there hopefully shouldn’t be any dismay about cross-play here.
