Oppo will launch Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone and Enco X True Wireless earphones in India today.

“OPPO is all set to launch their videography expert, Reno5 Pro 5G along with the impressive Enco X Noise canceling earphones in the Indian market today at 12:30 PM. The Reno5 Pro 5G will be the first power-packed smartphone in India to be powered by industry-first AI Highlight Video feature combined with MediaTek’s flagship level chipset- Dimensity 1000+,” said the company in its release.

Prices of Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G and How to Buy in India

Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G price in India is tipped to be Rs 39,990, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav. This would be more or less in line with the China price of CNY 3,399 (around Rs 38,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM and 356GB storage is priced at CNY 3,799 (around Rs 43,000). Indian RAM and storage configurations might vary.

The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Oppo's official India website.

What to Expect from Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G in India?

Oppo’s Reno series of phones are always priced above Rs 30,000 in India at the launch. The scenario seems to remain the same with Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G. At an expected price of Rs 39,990, the Reno 5 Pro 5G will compete with the Mi 10T Pro and the OnePlus 8T which are powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset.

The phone rocks a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. It is a Super AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. But the phone may not come with 12GB of RAM in India as rumours point out an 8GB+128GB model launching in the Asian sub-continent.

Reno 5 Pro 5G is part of Oppo’s new smartphone series. It comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. As said earlier, it runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM. The phone has 256GB built-in storage. A 4,350mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging powers the phone.

The phone features a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The smartphone also has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Cameras on the Reno 5 Pro 5G include 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro sensor completes the setup. Oppo has added a 32MP snapper on the front. Oppo is heavily teasing the video recording capabilities of the Reno 5 Pro 5G. The phone offers Live HDR and Ultra Night Video recording features.

Oppo Enco X

The wireless earbuds feature active noise cancellation and have a transparency mode as well. Enco X looks identical to the AirPods Pro with smaller stems. The device comes in two colour options of black and white.

Oppo Enco X is said to last for up to 25 hours on a single charge without any noise cancellation. With ANC turned on, the earbuds are said to give a back up of up to 5.5 hours and 20 hours with Max Noise Cancellation mode. Enco X also comes with support for Qi wireless charging. The wireless earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity, and it’s compatible with Android and iOS.

*Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 5 Pro 5G in Glitter Blue, Aurora Blue and Midnight Black colour options. The handset has a 4350mAh battery which can be charged using the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology.
