This Amy Adams thriller, adapted from A.J. Finn’s (real name Dan Mallory) novel of the same name has been a long time coming. Originally scheduled for release in 2019, it has floundered in limbo, only to arrive in a time where it gains a new layer of relevance. Adams plays Dr. Anna Fox, a woman struggling with agoraphobia confined to her home. As a distraction, she spies on her neighbors, living life vicariously through them. But that takes a dark turn when she witnesses a violent crime. Directed by Joe Wright, the movie also stars Julianne Moore. — A.C.

For those who saw all four hours of the Justice League Snyder cut and said, “Yes, more please”, your wish has been granted! Who else could pull off a zombie heist movie about mercenaries who pull a job during the apocalypse? Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Tig Notaro all star. Think Ocean’s 11 meets Dawn of the Dead: less Brad Pitt snacking, and more, well, dead people. — A.C, Refinery29 noted.
