A new matchday means a new leader as Manchester City's now on top of the standings in the Premier League.
The Sky Blues passed rival Manchester United in the midweek with a 5-0 thumping of Crystal Palace, while United dropped a shock 2-1 result to visiting Sheffield United. Those results left City alone in first place, with a game in hand, and with a clear path to the title at the club's halfway point of the campaign, according to DAZN.
Interestingly enough, City's next opponent is the same Sheffield side that stunned United. The Blades are rock bottom in the league but will surely be buoyed by the chance to win back-to-back games against the Manchester giants.
As for United, things get much tougher as a visit to Arsenal is in the cards. The Gunners have shaken off a rough start and are one of the most in-form sides in the league, and will be bolstered by new signing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid (by way of Real Sociedad).
Meanwhile, an unlikely top-four battle ensues between West Ham and Tottenham as the London sides have been leapfrogging each other in recent weeks.
