West Ham secured all 3pts from their last league game, a tricky away trip to Elland Road. Leeds Utd took an early lead from the penalty spot but the Hammers equalized in the 25th-minute through Soucek and went in level at the interval. The match appeared to be heading for a draw as the teams entered the final 10-minutes, only for West Ham defender Ogbonna to net a late winner for the visitors.
Palace probably feared the worst when they went behind at home to Spurs in the 23-rd-minute and trailed at the break. However, the hosts fought back in the second forty-five, equalizing through Schlupp in the 81st-minute and seeing out the final moments of the game to secure a decent home point.

Michail Antonio's thigh injury makes him a doubt for Wednesday's clash but he is edging closer to a return for the Hammers, while Arthur Masuaku has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Nathan Ferguson, Wayne Hennessey, Martin Kelly and Connor Wickham are all out injured for the visitors, and there are also concerns over Tyrick Mitchell who has a cold.

Newcastle have gone nine games without a win ahead of their game against Aston Villa on Saturday, but Steve Bruce has not got too many injury concerns to deal with.
