2021 NFL playoff schedule updates: Divisional round, Time, TV and Stream

With teams still jockeying for playoff berths, positioning and home-field advantage entering Week 17, the dust has settled and the field is now set.
With the playoffs now expanded to 14 teams — an additional two squads entering the fray for the 2020 season — seven spots across the AFC and NFC were up for grabs in Week 17. The AFC South and the NFC East all came down to a final game.
The Chiefs clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC, while the Saints, Packers and Seahawks all entered Sunday's games with a chance to lock up that top seed in the NFC.

When do the NFL playoffs start 2021?

The first games of wild-card weekend was played on Saturday, Jan. 9. There are six games across two days of play — what the NFL has dubbed "Super Wild Card Weekend."
How do the NFL playoffs work and what’s different about this year?
A total of 14 teams–seven from each conference–will compete in the playoffs this year. The top seed from each conference has a bye to the divisional round. The previous format featured 12 teams (6 from each conference) and allowed two teams in each conference to have first-round byes. As a result, there are now two extra games on Wild Card weekend.

How to watch NFL playoff games on TV, live stream
The games will air on FOX, NBC and CBS starting Saturday, January 16 through Sunday, January 17, and are available to stream, live, on fuboTV, Sling, CBS All Access and Hulu + Live TV, Syracuse reported.

Live stream: ESPN+, CBS All Access, fuboTV, DAZN (Canada)
Folks with a cable connection will be able to catch NFL playoff games on ESPN, ABC, CBS or NBC. They can be live streamed online on those networks' respective websites and apps.
NFL playoff games can also be streamed live online with a subscription to fuboTV.
DAZN will be carrying NFL playoff games in Canada.

The 2021 Super Bowl LV will take place in Tampa, Florida at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday February 7th. We know it will be the AFC vs. the NFC and we know when the game will take place, but we don’t know the specific teams yet, according to DKNation.
It will be the fifth Super Bowl Tampa has hosted, the previous ones in 1984 and 1991 (the Scott Norwood/Whitney Houston National Anthem game) at Tampa Stadium, and 2001 and 2009 at Ray Jay.
Since the last one in Tampa, there’s a brand new Riverwalk built downtown that connects all parts of the core of the city. It’s helped revitalize an area where there wasn’t much nighttime activity before, and takes advantage of the Hillsborough River feeding into Tampa Bay with gorgeous sunsets and terrific weather. Especially in the winter when it’s not too hot, so it’s a good year to have the game in a tropical climate, as most of the activities will be outside.
The Super Bowl Experience will take place all along the 2.6 mile Riverwalk, but will be centered at Julian B. Lane Park right in the heart of downtown. It’s free this year, but fans will need to download the NFL OnePass app.
The stadium sits a few miles west of town, but is easily reached via I-275 from where most of the activity will be. And especially because attendance will be very limited, getting to the game shouldn’t be much of an issue for those with a ticket.
Though no official attendance policies have been announced, it looks like at least some vaccinated health care workers will be able to attend.

Super Bowl 55 stays in Florida in 2021, returning to Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "Ray Jay" has hosted two previous Super Bowls, in 2000 and 2008.
Super Bowl 54 was played in Hard Rock Stadium, the home stadium of the Miami Dolphins.
